Design, calculation, production and testing of high-pressure components, which all adhere to international standards and specifications, is BHDT´s core business.
In accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ASME BPVC and API Q1, the company´s quality and environmental management systems are documented in detailed manuals and certified by various third parties. These manuals include all operations and areas of responsibility within the company. Special processes and audits are described in work procedures. Decades of experience in the field of high-pressure technology, the selection of appropriate materials and accurate order management are the preconditions for a high degree of reliability and functionality of our products in compliance with international standards and customers´ requirements. Material certificates and test results of the finished components are documented in cooperation with TÜV, LLOYD´S, API or other international certification societies and testing agencies, which are available to all our clients.
BHDT took its place as a world leader in the late 1950s. The company recognised the ever-growing demand for high-pressure valves, fittings and other system components for the chemical industry, thus gaining an edge over other competitors.
BHDT´s Oil and Energy department provides products and services including applications in the upstream/offshore industry and high-temperature applications in other industries.
Today, BHDT is in a position to provide equipment for pressure ranges up to 3,500 bars and is a leader for high-pressure systems for the oil and energy Industry. The main products are compact flanges, clamp connectors, ball and gate valves (according to API 6A, 6D, 6DSS and 17D). For all API-related products, BHDT is certified according to API Q1 and additionally API monogram licensee.
Worldwide patents cover numerous innovative developments. State-of-the-art, 3-D CAD/FEA systems and high-precision computerised machining technologies are geared to further expand BHDT´s leading position.
BHDT is not only a producer of top-quality high-pressure components - it is also a supplier of complete customised high-pressure systems for the petrochemical industry and a contractor for large industrial plants, particularly in the field of low-density polyethylene and ethylene vinyl acetate (LDPE/EVA) or the fertiliser/urea industry. BHDT also fabricates specialised products and equipment for offshore topsides, risers, subsea, chemical and power plant industries. The ability of flexibility concerning customer design requests is BHDT´s core strength.
