Single product solution

Our single product/single coat solution is easily applied by our range of Polymelt Applicator Machines. The coating is melted down from a solid resin (in the supply unit) and applied using a heated hose and gun to fit the contours of any complex component.

This makes it suitable for a wide range of applications such as flanges, valves, bearings, wellheads, piping, steel to concrete interfaces, parts protection and much more.

Surface preparation is minimal, simply brushing away loose material before applying directly to the surface, with immediate protection from the coating downtime (if any) is minimal.

A key feature of the TM198 encapsulation system is the non-adherence to the substrate, which along with the self-lubricating properties, allows any pipework that needs to move to do so within the coating, for example pipe supports.

Suitable for inspection

TM198 can complement NDT and inspection techniques to check substrate integrity without removing the coating. Alternatively the coating may be removed at any time for maintenance and inspection and the area simply refilled, the new coating will adhere to the existing to provide continued full protection.

Extra Protection

For added protection in harsh environments where assets are subjected to increased impact and abrasion we can offer Oxitape. Oxitape is a moisture activated composite tape that cures in air or water to form a hard shell.

It is applied over the top of TM198 but increases the range of use to that of the splash zone, ground-air pipe interfaces and buried pipe. Oxitape is easy and fast to apply with no preparation required.
